🔹 The inhabitants of ancient Egypt (around 3000 BC) created a natural “brush” by chewing the ends of willow twigs to clean their teeth.
🔹 The first modern toothbrush appeared in China around 1498: wild boar bristles were attached to a bamboo handle.
🔹 In Europe, this idea began to spread in the 17th century, but it was not until 1938 that the modern toothbrush with nylon bristles went into production.
