More than 150 trees in the capital's "Gashyktar" and "Zhastar" parks have been given digital passports. There are plaques with QR codes on the trunks of the trees. This allows you to find out when the tree was planted and when it was last watered. The project was launched in May as part of the "Clean Kazakhstan" environmental campaign. So far, it is being implemented only in the capital as a pilot project.
Karima Saduakas, a correspondent for the "Tansholpan" program, spoke with project manager Gulnar Altynbekkyzy.
